What items should NEVER go down the drain or into a toilet?

Fats, oils, grease, bones, meat drippings, oatmeal, lard, cake frosting, butter, cheese, egg shells, fruit, glue, gravy, food solids, sour cream, paper towels, rags, paint, medicine, salad dressing, coffee filters, solvents of any kind, as well as human and pet hair, sanitary pads, diapers, fertilizer, glue, wet wipes, keys, houseplants, automobile fluids, batteries, cigarettes, cleaning supplies, cosmetics, facial tissue, pesticides, plastic, toys and bandages should NEVER go down the drain or into the toilet. In other words, if it’s anything at all that is likely to contribute to your pipes getting clogged, put it in the trash, not down the drain.
