The Cottonwood Water and Sanitation was established to provide the Cottonwood community with water and wastewater services. The District remains dedicated to ensuring that the services we provide and maintain, now and into the future, are of the highest quality for all of Cottonwood’s residents and businesses.
When it comes to the quality of its water, Cottonwood Water and Sanitation District is here to ensure the proper precautions and safeguards are followed long before the water reaches the taps within the community or is discharged back into the environment.
Cottonwood's Water Quality
Each year, we publish a Consumer Confidence Report (CCR), which is an annual water quality report that all community water systems, such as Cottonwood, are required to provide. Be assured that the water CWSD provides the community continues to meet and/or exceed all water quality standards. We invite you to review these reports below and learn more about them by visiting our water FAQs.

Cottonwood Water & Sanitation District
Water is connected to everything in our lives and, in 2012, people across Colorado are celebrating this essential resource. Communicating why water is important can be creatively expressed in many ways. What would “A Day Without Water” look like to you? You can also offer positive or alternative solutions to water scarcity issues in this prize-filled online video contest for adults & kids. More information to come.
